Nina Choi is a Korean American photographer born in Texas. She began her exploration of photography in high school at Glassell School of Art, Houston and further honed her skills by graduating from the BFA Photography department at Parsons School of Design, New York City.
Choi's commercial photography embraces a diverse range of subjects, including architecture, travel, still life, food, and fashion. Her photographic process combines adept technological skill with a continually evolving vision. Choi strives to capture fleeting moments while balancing them with the symmetry of light and shadows.
Her photographs have appeared in publications such as Architectural Digest, Vogue, Conde Nast Traveler, Vanity Fair, Luxe, Frame, Interior Design, Coveteur, National Geographic Traveler, GQ, T Magazine, Time, New York Magazine, La Cucina Italiana, Elle, Domino, and WWD.
Her commercial clients include Disney, Restoration Hardware, Neiman Marcus, Tory Burch, Absolut, Arlo Hotels, Origins, Bath and Body Works, Chopard, Ippolita, Langham Hotels International, Snarkitecture, The Future Perfect, World Market, Robert Marc Eyewear, Overland, Odin New York, Stribling, Vornado, and WP Carey.
Nina also exhibited her photography, by invitation, at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2016.
When she is not on assignment, you can find her searching for perfect waves around the world and playing fetch with her Rat terrier Nova. Nina shares her time between New York City, Los Angeles, and Singapore.
